Florida Cardiac Post Op Bootcamp December 2024

Cardiac post operative didactic learning principles of cardiac output, hemodynamic monitoring, review of post op nursing care guidelines and room configuration. Hands on practice with CCCU nursing skills and simulation will also supplement the didactic portion of this bootcamp.

Target Audience

CCCU Nurses, Staffing Resource Pool Nurses

Learning Objectives

1. Discuss elements of cardiac output and mixed venous oxygenation.

2. Discuss the use of Etiometry to trend inadequate delivery of oxygen.

3. Demonstrate post op interventions and standards of care.
