Series Summary:

Join your colleagues in a monthly educational series that addresses topics most relevant to the NCHF Pediatric Emergency Department. This interprofessional activity invites effective speakers to interact with the team in an informal, engaging manner with open discussion, lively presentations, hands-on skills, and equipment pertinent to the monthly topic. Enjoy your meal during the presentation or accompany your team to a nearby venue for the dine portion of the evening, immediately following the presentation. All team members are invited to participate in the series: MD, RN, EMT-P, RT, PCT, and others interested in the session content. 

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this activity, participants will be able to: 

  • review pathophysiology for monthly topic.
  • apply evidence and best practice for topic presented each session.
  • apply assessment criteria for relevant for topic theme.
