This is an intensive one day course designed for pediatricians who would like more experience with pediatric emergency scenarios. This course is geared specifically for the pediatrician working in an urgent care setting or emergency department and also for the pediatric hospitalist who may be called upon to respond to an emergency. We will provide hands on training in critical pediatric emergency skills. This will include pediatric specific airway management techniques and pediatric resuscitation procedures. Using high fidelity simulation, this course will also focus on the crisis resource management skills needed to successfully manage a critically ill pediatric patient.

This 4-hour didactic/simulation is designed to provide advanced nursing education for the care of a ECMO patient, cardiac emergencies and PALS scenarios.

This 8-hour course is designed to enhance the knowledge of cardiac defects and assessment of the pediatric cardiac patient.
